but pray tell, is it possible to fit this 2 5/8" into a 2 1/16" pod? i was told by some members that you can trim the pod to make it fit. but the rep at summit racing said its much too big and trimming the pod still won't make it fit. apparently they don't make (or summit doesn't carry) 2 5/8" a-pillar pods. i prefer this over the smaller 2 1/16" guage. please advise.

by the way, the new car is sitting in my driveway awaiting a full tuneup. new ngk plugs installed, all injectors checked and cleaned, intake cleaned, vacuum leak found, etc. pcv valves, 02 sensors next. should be back on the road soon, pics to come soon just bear with me =)

on a side note, i'm trying to choose the right motor oil for my first oil change on a higher mileage turbo engine. my options narrowed down to three below. #1 seems ideal but don't want chances of any leaks. #3 looks like a good compromise, but dunno too much about blends. so #2 seems good to me since its suppose to condition seals in the older engines. any objections, please ring in now... thanks.

1. mobile 1 synthetic 10w30
2. castrol gtx high mileage 20w50
3. castrol syntec blend 20w50
